Our founder, Chef Markell aka Ayocote, grew up in Los Angeles San Fernando Valley surrounded by the aromatic spices of Mexican heritage and the comforting tastes of Soul food from his mother’s kitchen who is from NOLA’s famed 6th ward. These two culinary worlds captivated his heart, and he embarked on a journey to blend the best of both into a unique dining experience.
